At NY Health Hypnosis & Integrative Therapy, we strive to be the best therapists we can be. We firmly believe that we cannot be the best if we don't make growth and helping others grow a priority. We are highly selective when choosing the next person to join our practice, as this will be an individual for whom we will fully invest in helping to grow as a therapist, as well as in our practice. This person should be well-educated and passionate about learning new modalities and view this position not only as their next job, but also as a career path in which he or she can grow with his or her colleagues and take on new responsibilities as the practice grows.
We specialize in using a variety of therapy techniques including hypnosis and EMDR in the work of treating eating disorders, insomnia, anxiety, depression, women's health, habits, compulsions, and other mental health concerns. We are mostly telehealth at this time and will accept remote candidates, but will give preference for those who are willing to work from our Soho office location one or two days per week, or those who live in a PsyPact states.

Training: Hypnotherapy & EMDR Tracks
The candidate will decide upon either a hypnosis or EMDR track, and there is also the option to do both. No experience in hypnosis or EMDR is necessary, but a strong desire to learn integrative modalities is a must. Each candidate will get very thorough training in either hypnosis or EMDR as well as decide specialties areas in which they would like additional training. These include, but are not limited to, training in insomnia, relationships, eating disorders, anxiety, or other forms of therapy such as ACT, EFT, or couples therapy. All training is paid and paid for, meaning we both pay for your time while you are training, as well as pay for flights, meals, and accommodations for additional conferences that you would like to attend.
A typical initial training period tends to be the first 4-6 weeks of employment. At this time, you will receive paid formal training through highly respected institutions as well as extensive training within the practice. Formal training in hypnosis is done through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH), or an ASCH-approved program. Formal Training in EMDR will be conducted through an EMDRIA-approved program.
Supervision & Team Meetings
In addition to formal training, each new hire will also have weekly supervision with a primary supervisor, as well as rotate through each member of the practice to learn additional skills and to get to know each person. Those studying EMDR will also have an outside supervisor who serves as an expert consultant. We also have biweekly team meetings, and biweekly small group case concentration as well as group support for one another.

We strive to create not only a professional, but a fun and supportive environment, as we firmly believe that this is essential in making sure we are cohesive and the best we can be for our patients. Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctorate (Psy.D or Ph.D) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and be licensed in New York or license eligible. Exceptions will be made for the right candidate if they are willing to get licensed in New York. In those cases, we will financially support the licensure and help navigate the application process.
The candidate must have an interest in learning about private practice management and a desire to shift and develop as the practice grows. This requires not only strong clinical skills, but also strong leadership skills and the ability to be self-driven and organized.
Salary
We offer a high base salary based on therapeutic skills and years of experience and provide ample opportunity for raises, bonuses, and growth within the company. Our base salary starts at a minimum of $90k, plus benefits based on 25 patients per week given 6 weeks time off. On top of base salary, we offer substantial bonuses ranging from $5k to $88k for seeing between 26 and 35 patients per week.
